Registration due June 1

Calling youth in grades 8-12! Come and experience the Iowa 4-H Youth Conference

Are you looking for something fun to do this summer? Come to the 2023 Iowa 4-H Youth Conference on June 27-29, 2023. The Iowa 4-H Youth Conference is a three-day gathering of over 500 youth from across Iowa. You don’t have to be in 4-H to attend! Conference participants will be involved in many activities including workshops, motivational speakers, community service projects, dances, and many other fun activities. This is a conference in which you can learn about technology, teamwork, and life skills in leadership and communications. During the conference, experience dorm life and make new friends from across the state.

If you have a specific interest in animal science, you might look into becoming part of the Animal Science Round-up track! This is a three-day immersive program for youth that have an interested in one of the following areas: beef cattle, dairy cattle, dogs, horse, poultry, sheep or swine. Youth spend time on the Iowa State University research and teaching farms working with animals learning about health, nutrition, behavior, genetics and reproduction. Each project is limited to the first 20 youth that sign up but if you do not get your first choice you can considered for another project. Evening activities are the same as the conference delegates.

Conference is held on the campus of Iowa State University. Registration is due June 1. The registration fee of $225.00 covers housing, t-shirt, all meals and events. Financial assistance is available.

The positive atmosphere allows youth to learn and have fun at the same time. Pack your bags and have a great time!
