Dysart Chamber Community Connections: May 2026
Nicole Taylor.
May always feels like the month when things finally start moving again. People are outside more, community events start popping up on the calendar, and you can feel the energy picking up around town.
For local businesses and organizations, this is when things start getting busy in the best way. Summer events are taking shape, and businesses are getting ready for more people coming through town.
One event we’re especially excited about is Maker’s Market on Main coming up on June 6 in downtown Dysart. Planning has been in full swing, and this year’s market continues to grow with even more vendors joining us! We’re excited for a full day of shopping, food, local makers, small businesses, and a busy Main Street atmosphere.
Another event we can’t wait for is the 24th Annual Dysart Car, Truck & Bike Show on July 17. The show keeps getting bigger every year, with more vehicles, more visitors, and a packed downtown full of summer fun.
This time of year is also incredibly busy for community groups and volunteers. Markets, festivals, fundraisers, and summer events don’t just happen overnight. There’s a lot of planning, organizing, and teamwork that goes into making those events successful, and our communities are lucky to have so many people willing to step up and help.
We’re also working on updates to our website, community calendar, and online business directory to make everything easier to use and easier to find. Stay tuned!
At the Chamber, we’re continuing to focus on supporting local businesses, promoting events, and helping keep people connected. There are a lot of good things happening in our communities right now!
As things get busier, I encourage everyone to continue supporting local whenever you can. Attend the events. Share the Facebook posts. Visit the businesses. Invite people to town. Those little things really do make a difference.
If you ever have questions about the Chamber, community events, or ways to get involved, don’t hesitate to reach out. We love connecting with people who care about our community.
Nicole Taylor is President of the Dysart Chamber of Commerce.
