Mitchell Boerm is a member of the Central College men’s basketball team.

Second-year coach Craig Douma returns six letterwinners and two starters from last year’s 10-14 club.

The Dutch have won 16 conference titles-including 10 since 1975, more than any other school. They’ve made nine NCAA Division III tournament appearances.

Central played an exhibition game at Drake University Nov. 3 and opens the season Nov. 15 at Monmouth (Ill.).
